The hardest part wasn’t the goodbyes.
It was finding the right words once he’d left for work.

The questions kept coming.

Where is Daddy?
Does Daddy live at the airport?
When is Daddy coming home?

I wanted something they could hold, come back to, and understand in their own time, especially when those questions felt big.

That’s where FIFO & Me came in.

A woman sitting on the ground outdoors reading a magazine, with trees and open field in the background during sunset.
A woman walking with two children in a field at sunset, holding hands, carrying Easter baskets and wearing bunny ears.

FIFO & Me is for the families living the juggle.
For the kids who don’t understand why Mum or Dad keeps leaving.
For the parents trying to hold it all together at home.

It’s the link between home and site.
A way to make those hard goodbyes feel just a little easier.

It helps children understand why a parent works away, using language that feels safe, familiar, and age appropriate.

For parents, it offers an easier way to answer the same questions that come up at bedtime, at school drop-off, and during those tough goodbye moments.

FIFO & Me is about helping kids feel safe and supported within their FIFO family life.
